Partnering to Create a "Service Ready Region"

A great hotel does not operate in isolation. It depends on the strength of the community around it, the people entering the workforce, the organizations preparing them, and the employers willing to help shape what comes next.

In this session, David Faro will introduce the concept of a Service Ready Region and show emerging hotel leaders how they can become active participants in the workforce ecosystem beyond their own property. Participants will explore how hotel general managers and aspiring GMs can plug into what Faro calls “braided tables,” where employers, workforce organizations, educators, chambers, tourism organizations, community partners, and other stakeholders come together around shared workforce challenges and opportunities.
