David Faro, MPA, CGSP, is a workforce development strategist and Director of Workforce and Business Development with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. His work focuses on building regional hospitality workforce systems that connect employers, workforce organizations, educators, community partners, and government agencies around a shared strategy for developing talent.
Faro specializes in turning individual programs and partnerships into coordinated, scalable workforce models. His work includes hospitality career pathways, registered apprenticeships, industry-recognized credentials, incumbent worker development, employer engagement, and the creation of Service Ready Regions designed to strengthen both the workforce and the hospitality economy.
