Silvia Camarota

Bio:

Silvia Camarota is Senior Director, Hotel Market Partnerships B2B at Expedia Group, where she oversees a team of account management professionals responsible for lodging partnerships across North America.

Passionate about the travel industry, inclusion, and philanthropic impact, Silvia has held volunteer leadership roles with HSMAI, SKAL, and the USTA IPW Advisory Board, and currently serves on the board of the Greater Miami & Miami Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB).

Silvia is the Founding Chair of Women in Travel THRIVE, a nonprofit founded in 2020 that propels women closer to equality in the travel industry through connections, networking, education, and tangible resources designed to support women's empowerment.

Prior to Expedia Group, Silvia served as Director of Operations and Marketing at Liberty Investment Properties, developing and opening new extended stay hotels nationally. She also spent 11 years with Sunburst Hospitality Corporation in roles including Area General Manager and various strategic leadership positions.

Silvia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Miami.
