Mehul Patel’s entrepreneurial journey began before he graduated high school when he co-founded a bulk mailing business, quickly scaling its sales before transitioning into hospitality. Alongside his family, he built a strong foundation in hotel development, overcoming early setbacks to create a thriving business.

As a Managing Partner at NewcrestImage, Mehul oversees the company’s strategic growth, leading major acquisitions and investment initiatives. He has been instrumental in acquiring multiple hotel portfolios comprising over 90 hotels, reinforcing NewcrestImage’s position as an industry leader. His ability to adapt to changing market conditions and swiftly execute strategic decisions has been key to the company’s continued expansion.

Beyond NewcrestImage, Mehul serves on the Board of Directors for Summit Hotel Properties, Inc., a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT). He is also a recognized thought leader in the hospitality industry, frequently speaking at NYU, Hunter, and ALIS conferences and contributing insights to leading lodging industry publications.

Mehul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. His leadership and expertise in hospitality finance, acquisitions, and market adaptability continue to shape NewcrestImage’s growth and influence in the industry.
