Bio:
Mark Weiss is Senior Vice President Food & Beverage, Hotel Concept & Design for
Loews Hotels & Co, overseeing all aspects of F&B including the development of vibrant
and creative new programming for hotels, restaurants, bars and catering & conference
management.
He joined Loews Hotels & Co in 2012 with more than 20 years of experience in food
and beverage operations at some of the hospitality industry’s most notable companies.
For 10 years, Weiss led The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as Corporate Director of Food
& Beverage and eventually became Vice President of Operations International.
While with Ritz-Carlton, Weiss opened 23 hotels, overseeing the strategy, execution
and management of the food, beverage and rooms division. He held several top
management positions at the coveted Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, and began his career
with Ritz-Carlton at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Springs.
Growing up in New Zealand. Weiss started his hospitality career at the Regent, Four
Seasons Hotel in Auckland New Zealand.
