Bio:
Joe is currently Director, Environment at IHG Hotels & Resorts where he leads Climate/Energy, Water, and Waste initiatives for the Americas region.
Before joining IHG, Joe worked as a green building and sustainability consultant for numerous clients across a variety of industries and building types. In addition, he has served on numerous boards and guided organizations on sustainability and green policy development.
Joe is a licensed architect and is nationally recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as a prestigious LEED Fellow in acknowledgment of his expertise, achievement, and service to the green building community and has demonstrated an expertise in healthy building as a WELL Accredited Professional.
Outside his work at IHG, he is also co-founder / co-director of the international non-profit Stories Lived (www.StoriesLived.org) which seeks to connect humanity through the power of visual storytelling, is a musician who enjoys being out and volunteering in his local community, and last but not least spending time in nature with his wife and son.
