Bio:
Suraj Rama grew up immersed in the hospitality industry, gaining first-hand experience in hotel operations and developing a comprehensive understanding of both the transactional and legal aspects of the business. This unique perspective allows him to analyze assets from multiple angles and deliver insightful guidance to clients.
He spent two years working across three InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) properties, as well as independent branded hotels, and furthered his expertise by working alongside attorneys representing leading hotel brands, including Choice Hotels, Four Seasons, and Hilton.
Suraj joined NewGen Advisory in 2017 as a Junior Analyst and advanced to Associate Agent in 2022. He graduated cum laude from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business with a degree in Business Law and earned his Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in business from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, graduating magna cum laude.
He is an active lifetime member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), serving as a Young Professional and Southwest Region Ambassador.
