Livia Espada

Bio:

Livia Espada, PHR, SHRM-SCP is an accomplished human resources leader with deep expertise in hospitality and operational environments. She currently serves as the Area Director of Human Resources at White Lodging Services Corporation, a role she has held since March 2018.

In this capacity, Livia drives strategic planning and execution of HR programs across dual-branded Marriott and Hyatt hotel properties. Her remit includes talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and alignment of HR practices with organizational goals.

Before her current position, she served in multiple HR leadership roles (e.g. Director of Human Resources) within the hospitality sector, and also held roles in operations (such as Director of Rooms Operations) and talent acquisition project management.

Livia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management & Tourism from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas and has pursued additional studies in Business Communication at the Community College of Denver.

Based in Denver, she is actively engaged in her local professional community. In a recent interview, Livia shared that in her role as Area HR Director she oversees operations for the Denver Downtown market, including dual-branded properties such as Le Méridien and AC Hotel.

Her leadership is recognized for combining operational insight, strategic HR acumen, and a commitment to cultivating employee growth, engagement, and high performance in fast-paced service environments.
